FACC's client is seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting automated systems and equipment in a food manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Fabricate, install, and maintain automated systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in automated systems
- Program and configure logic controllers and distributed control systems
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose and resolve issues
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on automated systems
- Calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Detect and resolve electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation issues
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance and efficiency
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automation systems, including logic controllers and distributed control systems
- Proficient in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Familiarity with E&I (electrical and instrumentation) principles and practices
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical components of automated systems
- Ability to detect malfunctions in automated systems through systematic troubleshooting methods
- Experience calibrating precision measuring instruments for accurate readings
