Founded in 1984, Realization Center is the oldest and largest free standing, private chemical dependence treatment program in Manhattan. It is a unique, comprehensive, full service outpatient treatment program that provides all levels care, including group, individual, SU education and DWI groups. Realization Center serves a wide range of clients including impaired professionals, adult & adolescent substance abusers, LGBTQIA+ individuals as well as dually diagnosed, and HIV clients who have a primary diagnosis of substance use/abuse. We offer specialized treatment for men's, women's and adolescent's issues, co-dependency, gambling, sexual compulsivity, food addiction/eating problems as well as numerous mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, sexual trauma, family of origin issues, domestic violence, anger and stress management, school or job difficulties, legal issues, family conflict, parenting difficulties, and relationship problems as they relate to substance abuse.

Private outpatient addictions treatment center is seeking an experienced, energetic, dynamic, warm person for our Clinical Department who has strong clinical and leadership skills .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides weekly Supervision to clinical staff
· Provides individual/group counseling and maintains a small caseload as needed
· Ensures program deliverables are met, and that staff is working at full capacity
· Assists with completion of reports
· Handles clinical crisis and participates in interventions as needed
· Assist with chart reviews and day to day clinical oversight of program
· Regularly review and conduct an assessment of applicable legal and professional requirements and monitor treatment plans for clients. Initiate, implement and monitor compliance with evidence-based practices.
· Regularly provide clinical training to clinical service staff and interns. Recruitment of clinical interns and development of linkage for referrals, conduct outreach and maintain working relationships with graduate schools and referral sources.
· Understand and follow all policies and procedures of the department.
· Facilitate weekly team meetings, including maintaining weekly agenda accounting for admits, discharges, and clients requiring case conferences.
· Participates in assigned internal committees.
· Attends external meetings as assigned, including but not limited to: Reentry Council and Coalition of Behavioral Health, and OASAS meetings.
· Weekly Data Entry into PAS system for OASAS.
· Participates in interviews with candidates for employment
· Be proactive and responsible in holding clinicians accountable in note content and timeliness, completing performance reviews and PIP’s as required
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment, remaining highly organized
· Ability to handle and provide straight-forward feedback to leadership and clinical team members.
· Be a problem solver and think ahead to ensure any challenges don’t greatly impact progress or outcomes for clients.
· Other program supervisory related duties as assigned as needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Proven experience understanding and demonstrated ability to generate revenues for clinical services.
· Experience with Medicaid manage care and other types of client billings.
· Knowledge of OASAS regulations (part 822 a plus).
· Experience working in the community and knowledge of community and outside resources.
· Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.
· Must be reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality to work.
· Ability to work flexible hours M-F some evenings may be required.
· Must be a team player and have the ability to build morale.
· Effective conflict resolution skills
Work Experience:
· 3-5 years of clinical supervision
· At least 3-5 years working in a clinical/substance use program
· LICENSURE: LMHC|LMSW|CASAC Master- Required
· LCSW a plus
