R&R Rehabilitation is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team.
R&R Rehabilitation is an outpatient rehabilitation facility that provides Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Hand therapy to children and adults of all ages. We believe in the team approach to therapy and encourage collaboration with doctors, parents, teachers, and other therapists, when applicable, to provide the most encouraging and successful environment for patients.

Occupational Therapist responsibilities:
· Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical histories and personal goals.
· Communicate with physicians and other health care providers to confirm plans of care.
· Advise family members and other supportive individuals about the level of care the patient needs.
· Provide occupational therapy guidance, support and education during patient sessions.
· Teach patients how to interact with adaptive technology.
· Show patients how to use assistive devices.
· Assist patients with purchasing products to help them achieve their goals.
· Guide patients through graded activities.
· Generate reports for patients and their physicians and families.
· Provides quality care for adults and pediatrics by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
· Helps patient’s developmental or functional skills by implementing therapy involving vocational, sensorimotor, and sensory integration skills, activities of daily living and social activities.
· Promotes maximum independence according to patient’s skill level, cognition and interest.
· Prepares patient for return to employment by consulting with employers; determining potential difficulties; retraining patients; helping employers understand necessary physical and job accommodations.
· Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and implementing home discharge programs.
Occupational Therapist skills:
· Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
· Licensed in the state of Georgia.
· Membership and participation in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and Georgia Occupational Therapy Association (GOTA) is desirable.
· Willingness to participate in continued education courses.
· Compassionate and caring demeanor.
· Must possess proven skills in communication, organization, flexibility, and interpersonal skills.
· Must be able to handle more than one task at a time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $72,800.00 - $114,400.00 per year
