Job Description: Nurse Practitioner
Duties:
- Provide primary and specialty healthcare services to patients 6 and up depending on provider preferences.
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and disease management
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficient in conducting aliment assessments and providing appropriate interventions
- Knowledge of specimen collection processing techniques
- Experience administering injections
- Strong patient care skills with emphasis on compassionate and holistic care
