The Clifton School is seeking a Curriculum Coordinator. The Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for assisting teaching staff in the planning and implementation of the emergent curriculum. The program serves over 200 children daily with-in 20 classrooms. The Curriculum Coordinator reports directly to the Site Director and in conjunction with the administrative team are accountable for program operation in accordance with the program's mission. The Clifton School's mission is to provide state of the art childcare and education for employees of Emory, CHOA, and the Centers for Disease Control and full-time Emory students that recognizes and respects the rights of children, teachers, and families. The Curriculum Coordinator will assist the leadership team with providing leadership, supervision and guidance to the educational staff in support of the mission of The Clifton School.
Skills and Abilities
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* In depth knowledge of emergent, constructivist based curriculum
* Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice for children 6 weeks to 5 years old and positive behavior supports
* Strong knowledge of DECAL regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards
* Demonstrated ability to facilitate child and adult learning
* Ability to plan and organize programs and events
* Ability to interact with and manage a variety of personalities
* Must be able to multi-task
* Demonstrated professionalism and strong work ethics
* Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications: (In addition to the above)
MA/BA in Early Childhood Education or related field, 3 years experience in a NAEYC accredited program, and 2 years supervisory experience.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening including but not limited to criminal background checks and fingerprinting.

Pay: $45,187.46 - $54,419.31 per year
