Job Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service management and possess strong leadership skills to support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations.
Duties:
- Assist the General Manager in managing staff and ensuring a positive customer experience
- Help with interviewing, hiring, and training new employees
- Support in shift management and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards
- Oversee kitchen operations and food preparation
- Collaborate with the General Manager on restaurant management tasks
- Assist in catering and hotel event coordination
Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry
- Knowledge of kitchen management and food safety practices
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in cookery or culinary arts
- Background in hotel or catering management
