Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. You follow the curriculum and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, promote social and emotional development, and provide a safe and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum materials and resources
- Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences
- Implement strategies for behavior management and positive discipline
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development
- Attend staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Familiarity with early intervention techniques for children with special needs is a plus
- Proficiency in literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and other relevant subjects
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction is beneficial
