CooperSurgical is a global provider of more than 600 products, each with a focus on improving the health of women, babies and families additionally is a Premier Provider of Medical Devices, Fertility and Genomics Solutions. EHS Senior Specialist develops, establishes, and maintains environmental, health and safety programs applied to the facility in charge to ensure compliance with all legal requirements and adherence to company’s EHS strategy.
- 4-6 years’ experience in an EHS role in manufacturing or distribution environment managing and developing EHS policies, procedures, training, and safe work procedures.
- Professional certification in occupational health and safety (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH) highly desirable.
- English language proficiency.
- Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office.
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or related field.
- Must be self-directed, professional, and dependable.
- Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead emergencysituations including accidents,evacuations, natural disasters.
- Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills.
