Inventory Associate
Overview:
We are seeking a Edibles Inventory Associate to join our team. This position is to assist with the packaging and distribution of Cannabis infused edible products. The Edibles Inventory Associate is responsible for meeting scheduled deadlines and in complying with all local and state laws and regulations as well as all Company policies and SOP’s. To be successful in this role, applicant must be able to follow directions precisely, maintain consistency across large volumes of products, have high attention to detail, exactly execute all company SOP’s and adhere to strict PPE and personal hygiene regiments.
Duties:
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform various tasks related to the packaging of Cannabis Infusions in order to meet production schedules. These tasks may include, but are not limited to:
- a. Pulling & packaging of various edibles orders
- b. Sanitation & waste disposal
- c. Preparing accurate labels for production batches
- d. Assist in inventory counts
- e. Updating inventory systems to ensure accuracy & compliance
- Operation and sanitation of packaging equipment
- Maintain and protect the integrity of all proprietary company Intellectual Property, including but not limited to: ingredients, methods, recipes, equipment and all other internal company information, idea’s and discussions
- Maintaining sanitary conditions at all times within the facility. This includes the locker room, break area’s, production floor and general facility grounds.
- Perform cleaning tasks at the start of the day, throughout the day as needed and at each production days end.
- Comply with all MCA regulations and Company policies and procedures, including sanitation, security, workplace safety, confidentiality and COVID protection measures
- Maintain a positive, collaborative, and respectful attitude in all tasks and interactions with coworkers and management
- Actively participate in upfront and ongoing training in order to master skills needed to complete assigned tasks
- Identify and communicate issues and assist in troubleshooting, identifying potential solutions, and in implementing and monitoring corrective actions.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- 21 years of age or greater
- Prior experience working in regulated environments preferred
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic mathematical equations
- Adaptability
- Able to pass a background check
- Must be able to work 38 hours or more per week
- Observant, detail oriented and punctual
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to understand basic scientific concepts
- Familiarity using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Candidates should be experienced with the use of heavy moving equipment (pallet jacks, forklift, etc.)
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Exposure to low humidity environment
- Extremely active and physically demanding; position requires ability to move quickly and efficiently, ability to push and pull carts, carry items weighing 50+ lbs, ability to lift items over head; ability to maintain briskly paced production environment.
- Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to odors, indoor AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water
- Stand for 7+ hours at a time
- Bend, squat and stoop, twist and bend the neck and waist and reach above and below shoulder height to grasp objects.
- Use hands for repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
