Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team in Arlington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment and machinery in our facility. Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Perform assembly and sub-assembly repairs by following written work instructions, blueprints and schematics.
- Perform repairs on various types of machinery, including but not limited to logic controllers, high voltage systems, and low voltage systems.
- Respond to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and action repairs.
- Provide front line issues investigation of live production control systems (hardware and software) including the use of relevant diagnostic tools such as Profibus.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using multimeter.
- Analyze data and find solutions to improve MHE performance.
- Increase machine reliability on existing and new equipment by diagnosing equipment breakdowns and actioning repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a control's technician, preferably in an automation environment.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance and repair work.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix equipment malfunctions.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems in an industrial setting.
- Strong electrical experience preferable within a FMCG environment.
- Good technical & experienced hands-on ability relating to automation hardware and software.
- Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems including G-Suite and MS Office programs.
- Knowledge / experience working with controls, analyzing faults and providing solutions.
- Ability to work with a limited degree of supervision.
- Strong organization and communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-disciplined team of varying levels of technical experience.
- A good understanding of PLC control system and field control devices will be a plus.

Pay: $25.65 - $30.89 per hour
