We are looking for a dedicated, full-time hard working Inside Sales Representative who will thrive in a fast paced environment.
The Inside Sales position has overall responsibility for all sales accounts within the designated region.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for account management, account development, and inside sales.
- Work closely with both outside sales representatives and the operations department.
- Generate rate quotes for customers.
- Achieve sales goals and meet key performance indicators set by upper management.
- Create sales leads and active point of contacts over the phone and in person.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and be eager to learn.
- Troubleshoot and resolve all client issues.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred, but will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 2+ years transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding experience with a background in inside sales.
- Must have customer service and sales experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in building relationships at all organizational levels.
- Must be able to work alongside other sales personnel and communicate effectively.
