Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) responsibilities include:
· Carrying out the best practices treatments under the supervision of the OT
· Provides treatment based on the specific goals of the OT
· Must give feedback to the supervising OT through documentation or other methods per facility policy
· Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation
· Work together with the team to provide personalized care
· Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant college or university.
- Must hold a valid professional license and registration for the state of NY
- Preferred experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care
- Preferred well versed with documentation writing
