Our Early Intervention program provides in-home and childcare center EI services for children ages 0-3 who have or are at risk for developmental delays or have a diagnosed disability. This program works with families and their children ages 0-3 who have or are at risk for developmental delays or have a diagnosed disability. Our Early Intervention program provides support services and resources in Methuen, North Andover, Andover, and the greater Lowell area.
The Job
Reporting to the Office Administrator, the Administrative Assistant works in our Early Intervention program. located in Lawrence, MA. This full time (M-F) position maintains open communication with the EI Intake Coordinator and Office Administrator regarding early intervention evaluations, intakes, and updates as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an administrative or office position.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and English languages are required.
- Strong understanding of office procedures including filing, telephone etiquette and office equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Word, Outlook 365, and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
- Exhibits a professional, flexible, and positive demeanor.
- History of good attendance and reliability.
- Frequently sitting while working and/or attending meetings/training and the ability to bend and lift 15 lbs. or less.
