The Construction Project Engineer will be responsible for owning assigned projects from concept to completion. Strong attention to detail, robust communication skills and a high level of professionalism are required.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Manage multiple concurrent projects that require coordination with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and teams
- Lead and manage large-scale projects from planning, development, launch, socialization and adoption
- Track, escalate and mitigate projects risks and issues as appropriate
- Work with the key team members and leadership to prioritize tasks using internal tools
- Own and manage project plans and provide regular communications to management and stakeholders on projects status, risks, dependencies etc.
- Host and lead regular project meetings with respective stakeholders
- Performs a variety of office and field engineering assignments related to self-performed or subcontracted design-build infrastructure projects
- Reviews and interprets design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and feasibility to perform technical execution of work
- Should be hands on using CAD systems
- Provides resolution for technical engineering problems and coordinates application of solutions
- Provides technical guidance to site personnel regarding installations
- Ensures that all work within his/her assigned scope of responsibility is installed in accordance with plans, specifications, and industry and quality standards.
- Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards
- Monitors and updates project schedules, deliverables, cost, and quality performance
- 30% Travel Required
What You Will Need To Succeed:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Project Management
- Minimum of 7 years of in building/ construction related relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Training in Agile Methodology Master's Degree
- Self-Starter
- Ability to operate independently with little direction
- Proven stakeholder management skills including managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously
- Experience initiating, growing and completing large complex projects
- Effective written and oral communication skill
- Experience with Excel, Visualization tools like Tableau and collaboration tools
Estimated Pay Range: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $121,000/Yr. - USD $135,000/Yr. and is an Exempt role.
