Job Summary:
The Field Service Specialist is to make repairs, fix technical issues, and complete installations on various systems and equipment associated with our various gas plants and their components. While working with others on various commission projects to, maintain, service, and troubleshoot equipment. The Field Technician is thereby required to monitor multiple sites/locations to provide coverage for operating equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform alignments on motors, compressors, and other rotating equipment. REQUIREMENT.
· Perform quarterly vibration analysis with reports
· Must be able to inspect/meg motors
· Greasing maintenance on major equipment
· Perform alignments when needed
· Assist operations when pulling and installing major equipment
· Assist other sites for start-ups
· Assisting plant managers on ensuring correct couplings are in stock
· Installs, commissions, and starts new units, including necessary inspections and testing.
· Inspects compressors, and control systems, using micrometers, pressure gauges, electronic diagnostic equipment, and other tools to identify and correct potential problems before they occur.
· Assist in repairs during scheduled plant shutdowns.
· Must be able to use vibration analysis and other processes to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
Position Requirements:
· High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
· Must be eligible to be legally employed in the U.S.
· The ability to travel when needed, 75% to 80% of the time.
· Complete and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR in accordance with company policies
· Ability to work overtime, on-call and weekends when needed
· Ability to operate ATV safely and follow site specific protocols
· Required to exert physical effort in handling objects up to 50 lbs. on occasion
· Required to work outdoors approximately 90% of each workday. Work involves exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, or similar elements.
· Comfortable walking over steep and rough terrain for considerable distances daily
· Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
· Extensive visual and auditory observation during work
· Required to write and read job-related notes via email, etc.
· Spanish/Bilingual is a Plus

· Mechanically inclined

· Experience with electrical work

· Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (not to exclude weekends, overtime and rotating on-call)
