We are seeking an experienced Inventory Receiving Manager to join our team. As a Receiving Manager at our company, you will be a key player in overseeing the efficient and effective management of our facility’s receiving and inventory operations. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless operations. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment will be crucial to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Receiving and Inspection:
- Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, verifying the accuracy of quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Inspect items for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate department or supplier.
2. Data Entry:
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system, ensuring all necessary information is entered promptly.
3. Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of received items and update inventory management systems.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse or storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory items to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.
4. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
- Provide timely updates on receipt and delivery status to relevant parties.
5. Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling goods and materials.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to receiving and inventory management.
6. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to inventory receiving processes and control.
- Assist in generating reports and analysis as needed.
7. Storage Organization:
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of received goods.
8. Team Management:
- Supervise and train receiving clerks and other staff.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in Inventory and Receiving or a similar role, with a minimum of [3] years in a relevant industry.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
