We are looking for a Loss Prevention Officer who works closely with our Shop Partners, Managers, and District Staff to decrease loss and assist in enforcing procedures in our shops. This is not a desk job - our Loss Prevention team travels to our 350+ shops to conduct investigations and respond to emergency situations.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Conduct physical security checks at shops to ensure proper protocols are being followed.
Responsible for reinforcing our shops loss prevention and security procedures.
Develop interviewing techniques to find and prevent future issues.
Participate in training partners on random inventory counts.
Act as a liaison between Stewart's Shops and local law enforcement officers.
Operate our video system to retrieve and send video as needed.
Respond to night and weekend emergency calls.
Respond to subpoena requests including court testimony for video authentication
Accompany Stewarts partners to testify as needed in criminal matters that occur at the stores
Requirements:
Experience working in law enforcement or loss prevention.
Understand the importance of detail; recollection of events, dates, times and images.
Ability to multitask and be a team player as well as work independently.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to read body language and tailor interview style based on situation.
Knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Access etc).
Ability to operate video technology.
A clean driving record as travel between shops and corporate offices is required.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Some overnight out of town stays as well as flexible hours are required.

Starting Pay: 55,00065,000/year.
MondayFriday, 8am4:30pm. Nights and weekends as needed.
