Production Manager
The Production Manager holds an important role with the Enchant team. Reporting to the Event Production Manager as a member of our onsite leadership team, the Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of all technical elements. Production Managers must be able to interpret design drawings, communicate install methodologies and lead multiple teams while managing a tight schedule. Working in conjunction with the Event Production Manager and Event Manager, collaboration and coordination is critical to ensuring the success of our event.

Start Date: August 5, 2024
Pre-Planning: August 5 - October 27, 2024
Training: Attend in-person training with the HQ team at the warehouse with Event Production Director and Production Site Manager (Dates TBD in October)
Install: Oct 30 - Nov 22, 2024
Show: Nov 24 - Dec 29, 2024
Load Out: Dec 30, 2024 - Jan 10, 2025
End Date: January 26, 2025
Must be prepared to work each day of the Load-in, Run-of-Show, and Load-out.
This includes the holiday season: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
Travel will be required.
COMPENSATION: Salary, $2,000 - $2,400 weekly
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
Oversee all technical phases and disciplines of the event load in, run of show, and load out
Lead a team of event professionals by setting clear objectives and expectations
Responsible for meeting schedule milestones and pivoting where necessary to meet show opening dates
Monitor site expenditures to maintain budgetary control
Clearly communicate best practices and provide guidance as required
Collaborate with all departments ensuring their technical requirements are met
Become familiar with the drawing plans and install procedures to understand the full scope of work
Work closely with venue staff, clearly communicating objectives and maintaining strong relationships
Follow the outlined installation schedule and provide daily progress updates
Work closely with the Event Production Manager and other Department Heads to coordinate integration requirements (ie. electrical / crane & forklift requirements etc.)
Facilitate daily meetings during the season to communicate goals and monitor progress
Manage 3rd party vendor relationships and deliverables
Ensure all assets and structures are properly and safely installed
Ensure team is practicing safe work procedures
Collaborate with team to ensure design intent is executed for a successful show experience
Document as-built adjustments to the design layouts
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
5+ years of experience in Entertainment Industry and/or Project Management managing large productions, installations, and/or events
Strong communicator and leader demonstrated by executing multiple successful projects
Understanding of event installation methodologies: Tools, Equipment, Materials, and Processes.
Construction and/fabrication experience in the Entertainment Industry and Event load ins/strikes
Must be able to interpret design drawings and communicate install methodologies
Ability to lead large teams and effectively manage time
Highly organized and detail oriented
Entrepreneurial and self-driven.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Our venues span over 100,000 square feet.
Must be able to frequently walk and stand for long durations.
Frequently operates a motor vehicle.
