Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Development / Underground Utility experienced Superintendent to join our construction team. As a Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to quality standards
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction management software
- Proficiency in construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team of construction professionals
