Sphera is looking to hire a Financial Manager who will play an integral role in the global budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes. This position will report to the VP, Finance and provide key support to the company’s CFO and extended Executive Team. Primary responsibilities include leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, spearheading cash flow modeling and playing a critical role in pricing strategy. Additionally, this role will provide ad-hoc analysis as needed for senior financial leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an interest in financial data systems and the ability to design and implement reporting and processes.
Core Responsibilities:

Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes including the analysis of monthly financial results against budgets and re-forecasting annual and quarterly projections based on current financial information

Lead cash flow modeling and communication of projections to CFO and Blackstone

Partner with the Product Team to manage pricebooks for our various products and assist with strategic pricing decisions

Work closely with management regarding execution of budget and forecast commitments, including communication to management of both progress toward attainment and plans to affect course corrections as necessary

Assist with monthly and quarterly presentations for Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team and bank reporting

Assist in M&A activities including due diligence and post-acquisition integration

Ad-hoc deep dives on pressing business issues across the business.
Qualifications and skills:

5-7 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Strong analytic and modeling skills

Ability to work in a high-growth environment with changing responsibilities

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Strong understanding of financial statements

NetSuite and Salesforce experience strongly preferred

SaaS is a plus, 3 years public accounting or 3 years relevant financial consulting preferred
