Responsible for leading daily initiatives of inside sales from both a strategic and operational capacity. Aids in the attainment of the organization’s sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly manage, coach, develop and inspire sales staff to help them achieve their goals, including developing and implementing training programs

Implement aggressive sales management process where time is focused on developing strategies and coaching all aspects of the sales process. This will be done through 1:1 meetings, call monitoring and feedback as well as other development strategies.
- Works with internal sales partners to plan sales objectives, to develop sales policies and coordinate functions

Develop and implement inside sales strategy, with a focus on profitable, aggressive revenue growth in those segments of the business

Actively evaluate, establish, and coach to Performance Metrics set up for individual performers

Lead and conduct professional development and training programs for both the individual and sales team
- Able to effectively execute a Performance Management plan where needed

Actively participate in regional sales meetings, conference calls, and other similar communication/collaboration events/activities

Assist and/or supervise the development of proposals, sales forecasts, customer business reviews and pricing variances

Analyze sales reports, accurately identifying trends, variances, and root causes

Represent organization at local, state, regional and national conferences, and exhibits

Maintains safe and healthy working conditions within stewardship guidelines by ensuring all employees comply with company safety policies, practices, and procedures

Performs other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

5 years in a direct sales role
- Prior industry experience in distribution a plus

2+ years managing within a high performance inside sales organization

Proficient skills with all Microsoft programs and a CRM (Salesforce)
