Job Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Culinary Production Manager. The ideal candidate is responsible for delivering high quality food while managing a team of production employees. The Assistant Culinary Production Manager will work with the Chef to plan and execute production schedules to efficiently manage labor with their team and will be responsible for ensuring all products meet designated quality and foods safety parameters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and continually monitor food production execution to ensure quality, consistency, efficiency, productivity and professionalism are at the highest level.
- Support achievement of budgets for food, labor and direct operating expenses as they pertain to the culinary department.
- Participate in developing production and manufacturing methodologies to increase efficiency, productivity, quality and/or consistency amongst team.
- Support development, training and mentorship of hourly team members and leads.
- Ensure we are a great place to work.
- Manage assigned vendor accounts.
- Support HR functions including hiring, coaching, progressive discipline according to company standards.
- Conduct training in standard operating procedures, sanitation and food handling.
- Participate in weekly and quarterly inventory procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Available shifts:
- Overnight Shift 7:00 pm – 5:00 am
- Monday – Sunday (5 workdays, 2 days off)

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Competent written English and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years supervisory experience in Culinary field or Food Service
- General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills
- Ability to “think on your feet” and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to lead by example and build a strong team environment
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance is mandatory.
- Adherence to all company policies and requirements is essential.
