Director of In Field Operations is responsible for overseeing the Washington based crew of technicians ranging from 5 -12 people as they identify and repair sidewalk trip hazards. In this position you will spend 80% percent of your time on site with the technicians. While on site you will ensure safety policies are followed, inspect the quality of our repairs, and increase the production of the team. This position requires someone with clear communication skills, leadership, patience, and to be teachable.
Compensation:
50K+ DOE + Plus Quarterly Bonuses
Duties:
- Quality Control: The DO will inspect sidewalk repairs during the process and after completion. You will be inspecting to ensure the repairs are up to our customers expectations and that we have fully removed the liability.
- Production: As the leader of the crew you are responsible for ensuring the team hits their production goals. This is done through equipment checklists, clearly giving project instructions, quickly solving equipment malfunctions in the field, motivating, incentives, and friendly competitions.
- Scheduling: As projects are approved, the DO will be in charge of scheduling these jobs in a timely and effective manner. This includes demos, bids, and cutting jobs. Part of scheduling will include prioritizing jobs and seeing them complete before the deadline date.
- Training: DO's will be responsible for hiring and training new employees, current technicians who need help, and doing continual training for the technicians as a whole.
- Hiring and Disciplinary Action: DO's will interview and hire the best employees to benefit the team. The DO is also responsible for enforcing company policies and giving appropriate verbal warnings, written warnings, suspensions and terminations with the guidance of HR.
- Maintenance: DO's will be in charge of overseeing the maintenance of the vehicles and equipment used for the branch. This includes scheduling routine maintenance, ordering inventory, and keeping the equipment clean and presentable.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- Must have the ability to travel
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Office experience
- Willing to be clean shaven (For respirator use)
- Management experience preferred
