We are seeking for our inaugural Engineering Project Manager. This role presents an exciting opportunity to significantly impact the success of our client's product developments and implement scalable project management practices for enhanced growth and operational efficiency.
As an Engineering Project Manager at our client's organization, you will collaborate closely with the executive team to translate strategic initiatives into actionable projects. Your responsibilities will include project coordination, resource allocation, and progress reporting. You should excel in managing multiple projects concurrently while aligning with the company's priorities and available resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize projects aligned with strategic goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, including tasks, milestones, and product requirements.
- Efficiently allocate resources across multiple projects within the R&D team and identify bottlenecks.
- Oversee project execution, conduct regular meetings, and enhance schedule accuracy through project retrospectives.
- Present progress reports on schedule and budget to the executive team.
- Enhance project management processes, workflows, and communication systems.
- Establish structured processes for project meetings and scrums to ensure efficiency.
- Foster cross-functional communication and eliminate silos among project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering or project management, with at least 2 years in project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience with multi-disciplinary hardware and product development.
- Familiarity with manufacturing projects and methodologies like Agile, Kanban, and Scrum.
- Proficiency in project management platforms such as Clickup, Atlassian/Jira, Monday, etc.
- Self-motivated with strong leadership skills to drive and lead projects effectively.
- Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to comprehend highly technical concepts essential for project dependency planning.
- Comfortable managing complex and ambiguous problems while handling multiple projects concurrently.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with ISO13485 quality system.
- Familiarity with Clickup platform.
- Previous experience as a project manager in a startup environment at a similar growth stage.
- Background in medical devices development would be advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
