This is an LPN private duty assignment with various shifts available.
This position entails providing care and assistance to a middle aged adult who is kind, alert and oriented, but needs help with ADLs due to a physical disability. The client likes going out to lunch or movies. Full training on all aspects of care will be provided.
Primary role: Assisting the patient with personal care, vent/trach care, medication administration and nebulizer treatments.
Requirements:
- Licensed RN or LPN in the state of Florida
- Current CoVid vaccination encouraged
- Ability to pass level II background screening
- Be able to reposition a patient in his/her wheelchair, toilet or bed
- Current Fl. Driver's License and Insurance
General Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care assigned as ordered by a physician and under the direction of the RN or DON.
- Participate in the nursing process following patient care plan
- Document care in the patient's clinical record..
- Provide those services and assigned in accordance with agency policies.
- Prepare clinical and progress notes for the patient’s clinical record.
- Report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising RN.
- Administer patient's treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Abide by the Agency's Code of Conduct.
- Utilize electric Hoyer lift and electric bed
- Be trainable in trach care and suctioning
- Abide by the Agency's infection control policies, including proper hand-washing techniques consistent with CDC Guidelines.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
