Overview:
Barclay Friends is committed to providing excellent quality service to our residents! We are looking for detail-oriented, goal driven, enthusiastic Environmental Services Supervisor. This position coordinate activities and integrate with other departments the housekeeping and laundry/linen functions throughout the facility and number one goal is ensuring and maintaining an attractive, sanitary environment in compliance with mandated regulations and Barclay Friends standards. They will present a professional appearance, know State and Federal guidelines for skilled and personal care regulations and willing to work a flexible schedule with holiday and weekend rotation.
This ideal candidate will continue to execute an excellent housekeeping experience to our staff, residents and families by:
- Maintaining a clean and safe facility for residents’ and staff members' comfort and convenience by working cooperatively with departments in the "Room Ready" process to ensure a smooth discharge/admission process.
- Maintains Environmental Services Department Operational Requirements. This position will maintain the housekeeping staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training staff members. The EVS Manager will meet with staff regularly and provide valuable and constructive feedback, both positive and negative, to ensure that all staff members are aware of how they can improve their performance
- Sustains positive residents, staff and guest relations
- Adheres to all State and Federal Regulations
Team building and teamwork are the heart of Barclay Friends management philosophy. The leader collaborates and works with the Barclay Friends Department Heads and the Kendal System Services Team.
Qualification & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. At least 2 years as an EVS Supervisor in Healthcare or 5 years working in EVS Healthcare. Must have worked in a Long-Term Care or Nursing Home Setting.
