If you are a meticulous individual who loves numbers and detailed work come join us and help our attorneys create, revise, process, and issue accurate billing statements every month in a timely manner. Skills in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and constant and consistent follow-up are required. Job seekers should ideally have at least 2 years of billing experience with the billing and collections process, be organized and diligent, and produce an accurate work product in a fast-paced environment all with a smile on their face. Compensation:
$50,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:-
Create and maintain accurate accounting records pertaining to client information, account balances, and payments.

From time entered by attorneys, generate and distribute prebills on both a monthly and on-demand basis. Review and amend billing statements with guidance from billing attorneys and finalize invoices for timely distribution to clients both electronically and by mail.

Manage client payments, including payment reminders, replenishment of retainers, and collection calls and handle client questions regarding their bills.

Ensure that all payments to vendors are paid in a timely manner.

Handle deposits, account reconciliations, and other banking duties associated with the Firm's numerous accounts in a manner that is consistent with firm policies, accounting guidelines and ethical standards.

Work and interact directly with, and report directly to, Firm management on a daily basis.
Qualifications:-
Competency with computer programs such as MS Office, Quick Books and Tabs3.

At least two years' experience working as an accounting/billing specialist. Law firm experience a plus but not a necessity.

Ability to produce an accurate and high quality work product while multi-tasking in a bustling, energetic environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills are needed in this role, as is a positive outlook and "can do" attitude.
