Position: Google Ads Specialist

Role
The Google Ads Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's Google Ads campaigns to drive high-quality B2B leads and will be able to scale Google Ads while keeping CAC within profitability range.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify the most relevant and high-intent keywords for the eCommerce Brand target audience.
- Create and continuously optimize compelling ad copy, landing pages, and other creative assets to improve click-through and conversion rates.
- Set up, manage, and monitor Google Ads campaigns across search, display, and remarketing channels.
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven optimizations
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align campaigns with business objectives and lead generation targets.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Google Ads features, best practices, and industry trends to ensure the company's campaigns remain competitive.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders on campaign performance, ROI, and recommendations for future improvements.
Results
- Achieve growth in high-quality B2B leads generated through Google Ads campaigns
- Maintain agreed upon campaign-level return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Consistently improve key performance metrics such as click-through rate, conversion rate, and cost-per-lead.
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of Canopy’s new revenue targets.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing successful Google Ads campaigns, preferably in a B2B environment
- Proven track record of driving measurable results and ROI through PPC optimization
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads platform features, targeting options, bidding strategies, and reporting
- Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications are highly preferred
- Experience with other digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, email, SEO) is a plus
