SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Asset Based Operations manager to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Asset Based Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a team for transaction processing, customer support and collateral management functions of the Asset Based Lending department.
Responsible for implementation and oversight of procedures of Asset Based Operations Team.
Onboard and service a complex portfolio of bilateral and syndicated credits originated by Asset Based Lending team.
Assign new clients to the respective Account Manager and Collateral Analyst and manage volume and complexity of their portfolios.
Partner with Asset Based Lending Relationship Managers and Treasury Management Officers to help set up treasury products for new relationships in a format appropriate for asset based lending structure.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements
Education : bachelors preferred; Equivalent experience can be substituted for degree.
Experience : A minimum of 10 years of commercial loan experience including familiarity with asset based loans and systems.
Certifications/Specific Knowledge : Experience leading and managing client facing teams, Strong oral and written communications skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position can be hybrid and will have a private office at South State premises.
Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.
