Accountability Objective
This position is accountable to provide technical support and maintenance to TriMark’s JD Edwards software. The incumbent will develop customized solutions to maximize our information systems. The incumbent will provide on-going support to all users and coordinate software developments with the System Manager to ensure project goals are met. The position must also maintain an awareness of industry trends relative to software applications and implementation practices.

Nature and Scope
This position reports to the Systems Business Analyst Manager.
Incumbent is to perform systems analysis to ensure the information system is being utilized effectively and efficiently. The position will design and develop enhancements to improve current systems, programs and their usage.
The incumbent will lead the implementation of system enhancements and additions. This position will be responsible for testing new programs, enhancements and upgrades, as well as provide the necessary training to ensure that upgrades and improvements are effective.
This position is responsible for writing instructions and procedures for the operation of the data processing system. Additionally, the incumbent provides training assistance to system users. The incumbent will also assist with the maintenance of TriMark’s database of information and will ensure that all information is secure and safe, both internal and external to TriMark.
The incumbent will develop reports required for our users. The position will determine what type of reports are needed and will assist and train the users in developing their own reports through specific report writers or database retrieval software.
The position requires in-depth knowledge and/or experience in business systems design, development and implementation. Functional knowledge is required in the area of order entry/processing, manufacturing, distribution/fulfillment, financial accounting and international integration. A working knowledge of client-server and distributed computing technologies is essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary when dealing with all levels of the organization. A combination of strong technical ability and solid business sense is ideal.
Principal Accountabilities
- Manage activities focused on carrying out approved systems design and implements projects to assure that users are provided with effective methods of meeting their information requirements.
- Help support users with documented issues through the TriMark ticketing system.
- Analyze the needs and requirements of the organization, design and/or select systems to meet those needs, and develop and implement an information system that ensures accurate information in a timely manner for the user.
- Serve as a primary contact with users to obtain all information relevant to the project at hand; develop a comprehensive awareness of the informational requirements and data availability.
- Utilize existing hardware/software and recommend new systems/technology to ensure that the company’s current and future information needs are met.
- Stay abreast of developments in the systems field to adapt to desirable innovations.
- Communicate effectively with hardware/software vendors so that they understand TriMark’s needs and requirements.
- Maintain all of TriMark databases of information to ensure that all information is available to them in a timely and secure manner.
- Keep the Systems Business Analyst Manager informed of all matters pertinent to the successful management of information systems and the systems area.
- This position supports the continual improvement and compliance of QMS and EMS.

Working Conditions
The office area is air-conditioned and working conditions are excellent. There is nearly constant use of computers which may cause eyestrain. Vision requirements include normal or corrected vision with no color deficiency and normal depth perception and peripheral vision of 180 degrees. Safety glasses are required whenever office personnel are in the plant production area. Hearing protection is not required in the office area because the noise level is 50-80 dB. However, hearing protection is encouraged if office personnel will be spending more than brief periods in departments requiring hearing protection.
