Summary:
Complies with multiple state abandoned property reporting requirements by monitoring dormant and inactive accounts, determine if other accounts owned by member had activity, mails/emails letters of notification to members to obtain activity, and conducts internet searches to potentially obtain current address information when correspondence is returned.
Education and/or Experience:

A high school education or GED required

Minimum one-year general work experience required

One-year banking or office work experience and familiarity with Share Drafts related laws/regulations/reporting requirements, banking policies, procedures, practices, protocols, systems and programs preferred

Oral/written communication, mathematical, problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, computer and internet skills, and excellent telephone etiquette required

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required
Job Description:

Process Due Diligence Letters returned by members
-
Ensure that member signatures are verified, statistical information updated in core system, and date last contact on TRO based deposit accounts are updated to coincide with date listed on acknowledgement/correspondence or date change of address received

Update and ensure accuracy of records listed in 3rd party vendor site, perform maintenance to data ensuring statistical and monetary information listed is accurate, validate reporting status to coincide with acknowledgements/correspondence received and subsequently scan documentation to network drive.

Complete the remittance process in partnership with the Accounting department to send abandoned property funds to required states during various time frames.
Work with branch staff to handle member claims of account activation. -
Respond to calls/emails received from member and branch/other department staff. Contact members to obtain missing information.

Cross sell to members by advising them of other products and services that they can take advantage of and completing applications for Retail products/services.

Perform other duties as needed upon request from immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $22.00- $25.50 an hour . This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
