Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist

Full-Time, 40 hours per week.

Monday- Friday: Hours vary in between 7:00am-5:00pm.

Must be willing to travel to Downers Grove Corporate Office once a week.
The Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist is a candidate facing position on the Talent Acquisition Team responsible for ensuring a positive candidate experience through the various stages of the application and hiring process. This key role supports a designated team of recruitment professionals with scheduling interviews and transitioning the hired candidates through initial onboarding to their start date. This position will serve as a member of the TA team, maximizing the efficiency of the recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as an Administrator to the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with updates in job descriptions, templates, reporting, and other assigned responsibilities.

Serves as the main contact for answering questions related to the external/internal candidate process.

Responds to marketing inquiries from DMG website and manages Talent Acquisition inbox.

Point of contact for new hires and hiring leaders in regarding pre-employment screening, new hire onboarding, and IT.

Assists in the credentialing process for Allied Health Providers

Build relationships with schools and organizations to assist in TA staffing efforts.

Manage Research and register for virtual and location career fairs.

Coordinate on-site interviews for key positions to include reserving conference rooms, preparing information packets and coordinating with reception or welcoming the candidates.

Assist candidate with travel arrangements and with candidate expense reimbursement.

Transition assigned new hires from “offer accepted” through “hired” status including:

Initiate and track results for pre-employment drug and background screenings and credentialing.

Collect required educational, license, and certification documents.

Move candidates to hired status following successful pre-employment screening.

Collaborate with HRIS to troubleshoot failed transitions from Applicant Tracking System (ATS) into HRIS or payroll.

Assist with TA process improvement, project initiatives, and acquisition support.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or successful completion of GED required.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:

At least 1-2 years prior experience in an administrative support or telephonic customer service position.

Experience scheduling with Outlook or other scheduling application for various clients.

Prior experience working in an Applicant Tracking System, preferred.

Prior experience on a Talent Acquisition team conducting screening interviews and assisting candidates through the onboarding process is highly preferred.
