Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our Sound Precision Chiropractic team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting. We have been serving the El Cerrito community for over 40 years and would love for you to join us in our mission!
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk operations
- Assist chiropractors with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms
- Maintain electronic health records following HIPAA guidelines
- Handle medical billing, insurance claims, and patient inquiries
- Perform medical administrative tasks to ensure efficient clinic operations
Requirements:
- Experience in a healthcare/healing office setting preferred
- Proficiency in medical terminology and scheduling software.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical receptionist duties
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Certification or training in medical administrative support is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
