We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Processor to join our team. As a Mortgage Processor, you will be responsible for servicing support in real estate lending operations, including document preparation, collateral tracking, document imaging, insurance and tax payment monitoring, search requests, paid loan processing, quality assurance, and customer service.
**Salary is negotiable with consideration of job experience and qualifications.**
Specific Job Functions:
- Responsible for preparation of early disclosures and preparation of officer’s letters
- Assist in ordering of appraisals, title commitments, flood searches, and UCC searches
- Assist with preparation of closing documentation
- Responsible for closing/renewal lien perfection including recording of real property lien documents, UCC-1 filings, and life insurance assignments
- Participate in all ongoing training wherever and whenever necessary
- Responsible for monitoring collateral insurance, including hazard and flood, as well as force placing for uninsured or underinsured collateral coverage
- Responsible for monitoring of payment of real estate taxes
- Responsible for imaging new and renewal loan packages, retaining and filing of originals as applicable
- Responsible for reviewing, imaging, and clearing all real estate loan collateral exceptions
- Responsible for deleting exceptions on paid and /or charged off loans
- Responsible for processing all paid real estate loans, including property releases, UCC terminations, etc.
- Provides real estate loan payoff quotes
- Provides customer services through Loan Operations “Help” email box, including changes of addresses, research, and routine inquiries
- Other duties may be assigned as required
Skills:

- Strong knowledge of loan processing procedures and mortgage industry regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with loan origination software and systems
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
