Noble Corporation is hiring for a Director of IT Operations & Service Delivery at our Corporate Office in Sugar Land (Houston) and will be working a hybrid work schedule. This role will provide strategic and tactical structure of IT Operations, consisting of Cloud Services, Network, Infrastructure, ITSM, and Offshore IT Support. Oversee the architecture and ongoing support of the network, server, and communications infrastructure. Assist in the preparation of international bids. Prepare bid comparison matrix/materials for use in the bid decision process and perform engineering pre-bid work as required. Prepare cost estimate for rig upgrades and capital equipment for preparation of bid analysis. Research cost of new or reconditioned equipment to meet contract requirements and develops a cost estimate based on those equipment needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coordinate and maintain rig asset infrastructure and provide information and data as requested

Coordinate and maintain reporting system interface with outside vendor(s) on data utilized for internal reports/analysis weekly

Maintain effective, open, and regular communication with Senior Management.

Develop and present strategies for performance improvement and cost savings within the IT department

Attend weekly meetings for the purpose of communicating departmental and corporate goals, scheduling departmental activities, and discussing departmental issues

Control and monitor actual vs. budgetary performance for IT Operations.

Notify senior management of potential budget excursions prior to financial commitments

Business continuity and disaster recovery planning with peer leaders.

Provide recommendations regarding specific concerns raised by management

Develop and submit budget on an annual basis

Support leadership peers in project management

Support Noble’s Digital strategies and with offshore connectivity support.

Maintain a high standard for effective and timely communication

Partner with the Cyber Security team to meet Cyber Security Program compliance objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree (computer science or related degree preferred)

7 + years technical experience
-
2+ years of direct responsibility for IT service delivery management for an enterprise, preferably within the oil & gas service or offshore sector.

Experience in project management

Knowledge of oil field equipment and offshore IT operational challenges

Familiarity with appropriate software

Travel is an essential job function (approximately 15%, domestic, international, & offshore)

Familiarity with the technologies used for offshore/remote connectivity.
