LADC - Counselor
The Kai Shin clinic is looking to hire a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our dynamic team of psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, counselors, and physician assistants whose entire focus is to help the people we serve address their co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

Primary Responsibilities:
● Admissions of new clients
● Comprehensive assessments
● Treatment planning and treatment plan reviews
● Facilitate Individual, group, and family counseling
● Provide education to clients and their significant others
● Create aftercare and discharge plans for clients discharging
● Document all services in EMR according to 245 G and BBHT regulations
● Complete all other required LADC duties as outlined in the MN 245 G SUD statues
Requirements:
● Active MN LADC license
● Completion of 12 hours CEUs in co-occurring disorders or ability to complete within 6 months of hire.
● Previous experience working with adults with substance use disorders
● Excellent written, communication, customer service, and case management skills
● Able to pass Minnesota DHS background study
● Must be free of problematic substance use for at least two years immediately preceding employment (must sign a statement attesting to that fact)
Preferred:
● 2 years experience in a 245 G licensed outpatient treatment program for adults
● Masters degree in mental health field
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
