Assistant Director of Engineering
Assists Director of Engineering in the operation and maintenance supervision of the Engineering department and hotel. Assists Director of Engineering in any aspect to assure comfort of guests. Supervises a staff of 7 Engineers and ensures preventative maintenance of the Hotel.

You will be responsible for:
- Holds the technical overall responsibility of all technical installation on hotel, sewage system, fresh water / desalination plant, emergency generator, air condition system, technical building, laundry & kitchen equipment, cooling systems, hotel lightening, in-house music & TV system, plumbing, carpentry, painting, paging system & phones
- Strong focus on developing, executing, and supervision of our preventative maintenance program
- Close co-ordination between all related departments
- To maintain our standards of quality and service and facilities in all departments
- Responsible for the overall smooth, efficient and economical running of the entire Engineering department.
- Responsible for the overall health and safety measurements and all environmental requirements as per company policies and governmental laws.
- Assisting management in planning for the investment, leading project, and replacement budget on a yearly basis.
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in similar position is essentially required.
- Leadership experience in Hotel Engineering Department
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
Your team and working environment:
Working with our 7 Engineers, a Supervisor, and our Director of Engineering, you will help in leading them team in succesful implementation of projects. The team is seasoned with lots of experience in engineering as well as with our building.
