Description
Optimus Management is a fast-growing multi-company organization in the real estate commercial finance and development industries. We are seeking an experienced Accountant/Operations Manager that has at least two years of experience, preferably in lending, real estate, property management or construction industry. Initially, this position will report to directly to a key executive. Must be a self starter, independent, and pro-active, and be able to flourish in a fast paced environment.
Skills and Requirements:
- Manage and accurately record transactions for loan transactions
- Post to and maintain general ledger
- Prepare and maintain company weekly cash flow forecasts
- Reconcile and manage bank and credit card accounts
- Process payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements
- Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Prepare and distribute various financial statements on scheduled frequencies
- Prepare annual budget, monthly performance reports including analytics
- Work with loan processors and loan officers to support their closings
- QuickBooks Enterprise Edition experience
- Ability to analyze and improve accounting processes
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite with emphasis in Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized and proficient at time management
- Self-motivated and directed
- Customer oriented
- Supervisory experience a plus
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Oversee administrative office operations
- Analyze and improve current systems in place
- As the company grows, oversee additional accountants
- Basic HR functions (payroll, onboarding documents, etc)
- Salesforce experience is a huge plus!
