You must have a patient personality and create opportunities for your team in a collaborative atmosphere. You must have a proven track record of excelling in the financial end of the business with menu costing, maintaining food and labor costs, and looking for opportunities to increase profitability. Must be collaborative, flexible, outgoing, patient, poised and professional.
· Be an excellent line cook and Expo
· Maintain Food and Labor Costs
· Develop unique and cuisine-appropriate menus
· Collaborate with ownership to set item prices
· Stay current on developing trends in the restaurant industry
· Maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations
· Monitor inventory and purchasing of supplies and food from approved vendors
· Hire, train and supervise kitchen staff
· Assist and direct kitchen staff in preparation, creation, plating and delivery of menu.
· Identify and introduce new culinary techniques
