Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of HVAC technicians and provide guidance and support
- Oversee the repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule repairs and maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory levels
- Train new technicians on proper procedures and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience in van driving for service calls is preferred
- Knowledge of appliance repair techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable
- Proficient in HVAC/R principles and practices
- Ability to perform equipment repairs and field service tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
