Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and other related issues. As an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating various conditions specific to women's health.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical examinations on female patients to assess their reproductive health.
- Diagnosing and treating gynecological conditions and obstetric complications.
- Performing procedures such as Pap smears, pelvic exams, and ultrasounds.
- Providing prenatal care to pregnant women, monitoring fetal development, and managing labor and delivery.
- Educating patients on contraception methods, family planning, and overall reproductive health.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keeping accurate medical records and documenting patient progress.
- Participating in continuous medical education to stay current with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with completion of residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Experience in providing care for women across all stages of life, from adolescence to menopause.
- Proficiency in conducting gynecological surgeries when necessary.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems like Epic is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with acute care settings.
- Familiarity with public health initiatives related to women's health and health coaching is a plus.
