Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various medical settings, demonstrating compassion and professionalism throughout their work.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with patient assessments and collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans
- Perform routine nursing duties such as wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with documentation standards
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Experience in cardiac catheterization, inpatient, medical-surgical, and behavioral health settings
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical imaging results
- Knowledge of medical systems to document patient care accurately
- Ability to administer medications, dialyze patients, and provide alimentary support as needed
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
