Summary: Assurety Consulting, a leader in the postal/parcel ecosystem, seeks highly qualified applicants for a Senior Business Analyst position. This is a full-time position in Washington, D.C., with a hybrid working opportunity 2-3 days a week. This position requires a United States Postal Service Security Clearance and either US Citizenship or a Green Card.
The Data Analyst is responsible for collaborating with the client and developing an understanding of the client’s organization to develop user data per requirements from the end client and ensure our business solutions are in line with the client’s expectations.

- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field
- Possesses skills to convert client needs into software requirements.
- Lead project teams within assigned units to develop, plan, and manage project tasks.
- Problem-solving and consultant-like skills to recognize, analyze, and respond to business and technical problems.
- Excellent written and verbal skills (English).
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision for day-to-day tasks.
- Organized and attentive to details.
- Preferred Applicant Characteristics:
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders related to integration management and risk management.
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables), Access and other database reporting tools and Programming Languages (SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Javascript, C#).
General Job Duties:
- Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
- Conduct data analysis of the client’s data of the customers, develop reports to identify KPIs that require the attention of the customer, and communicate the issues to the customers and end client.
- Will create time-sensitive deliverables and respond directly to incidents in the client system.
- May lead project teams within assigned units to develop, plan, and manage project tasks.
- Independently analyze and develop innovative resolutions for complex problems involving availability and/or performance at the component level. Work with vendors to resolve problems; implement solutions independently.
- Responsible for problem resolution for advanced technical issues in the environment.
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing and provide training to the end client’s customers.
- Conducts data analysis in support of product acceptance programs and initiatives; collects and analyzes data to identify trends and insights and summarize findings. Develops reports and makes recommendations based on results.
- Analyzes entry data to reconcile customer payments; monitors and ensures customer payments are received accurately and timely. Develops and presents recommendations to management to improve the monitoring and accuracy of data collected. Collaborates with stakeholders to reconcile customer accounts and payments and determine if refunds are warranted.
- Provides technical advice and guidance to customers, field employees, and managers both orally and in writing on commercial product acceptance policies, programs, and regulations.
