Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to patients across various settings.
Duties:
- Implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on the Occupational Therapist's goals and objectives.
- Conduct therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Experience or interest in working with diverse patient populations in pediatrics
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in pediatric occupational therapy settings.
- Familiarity with acute care environments.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and physiology knowledge.
