Job Description
- Perform field tests TTR, DC Insulation resistance, DC winding resistance, Power factor, SFRA and others will be required on Transformers type Substation, Pad mount and Dry type, with minimal supervision.
- Participate (hands-on) in activities of installation and assembly of Substation and Pad mount Transformers.
- Supervise offloading of Transformers type Substation, Pad mount and Dry type.
Qualifications
- Electrical test knowledge on Transformers type Substation, Pad mount and Dry type.
- Good verbal communication skills to be able to interact with Customer on site.
- Able to travel 85% of the year.
- Drive long distance.
- Must be willing to perform job duties while working long hours, off-hours and while in an outdoor environment.
- Must be willing to perform job in confined space.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. of weight.
- Basic knowledge in the use of smartphone and laptop.
- Basic knowledge in the use of software for the execution of tests on transformers.
- Ability to solve problems in the field.
- Located on Located on Texas, preferably Houston or Central Texas area.
- Must have valid driver’s license and pass background check
