Occupational Therapist
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional capabilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities, such as dressing, eating, and bathing
- Teach patients techniques to improve their strength, coordination, and range of motion
- Recommend adaptive equipment or modifications to the patient's environment to enhance independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as speech therapists and case managers, to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed/other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
