Title: Lead Case Manager (SASW)

Job Summary:
A Tender Love and Care Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Lead Case Manager to oversee a team of professionally trained case managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, case management, and supervision, and will be responsible for coordinating case management services, ensuring the safe and timely release of clients, and maintaining compliance with agency policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced master’s degree in applied behavioral science, preferably social work, from an accredited college or university.
- Three years of case planning, case management, and fieldwork experience in a public or private agency.
- Three years of experience in supervision, policy compliance, or working in a lead capacity providing case management and/or social services.
- Experience with ORR (Office of Refugee Resettlement) is preferred.
- Possession of a valid State driver’s license.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, assign, and direct the work of case managers in complex casework areas such as adoptive placements, protective services, home studies, and foster care.
- Develop community resources and participate in in-service training and staff development programs.
- Supervise case managers, including weekly supervision, reviewing client records, and making decisions on difficult casework matters.
- Conduct field visits, attend meetings and training, and represent the agency at conferences.
- Evaluate policies and procedures, ensure quality assurance, and audit case files regularly.
- Provide oversight and training for case managers and foster parents, and assist with educational, recreational, and food services.
- Participate in intake, on-call, crisis intervention, and rotation calendars.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the ratio of staffing and agency needs.
Salary: 78,246.00 Yearly
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of a physical exam, including a drug/alcohol test.
- Criminal background investigation with fingerprinting. Felony or misdemeanor convictions may disqualify applicants.
Exempt Status Note:
The term "Exempt" refers to a classification under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Exempt employees are not entitled to overtime pay. They are expected to perform their job duties regardless of the number of hours worked in a week and are compensated with a salary rather than hourly wages.
