Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling storefront reception and administration duties.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the storefront location
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and bike shop station
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
- Take reservations via phone, email, and in person at our storefront
- Ensure the reception/ storefront area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary materials
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
Skills:
- Proficient in computerized systems for scheduling, billing, etc.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Computer literacy with knowledge of software like Microsoft Excel
- Experience as a receptionist or customer service representative is not required, but it is nice to have
- Familiarity with order entry processes
