Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Events Sales Manager to join our team on a commission-only basis. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing corporate event projects from inception to execution. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring the successful performance of this innovative experience at events.
Hours may vary depending on the event hours and location. We offer mileage reimbursement. You must have a reliable vehicle! Travel is required for this role.
We have a LDP “Lead Distribution Platform” for you to utilize to source leads in the market and use various methods for generating leads to help get you started!
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Northeastern Ohio.
- Cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and industry partners.
- Create tailored event proposals and presentations for clients.
- Manage equipment, ensuring availability and maintenance.
- Schedule and book events within the NEO territory.
- Oversee event execution for a seamless client and attendee experience.
- Track sales performance and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Execute sales contracts, agreements, and balances efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in corporate event sales or related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of the Northeastern Ohio market and local business landscape is a plus
- Knowledge of Excel, CRM systems, and Apple technology is a plus!
Commission and Bonus Structure: We offer a competitive commission structure with three tiers based on sales performance, along with opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
