Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Escrow Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in escrow and a strong understanding of the escrow process. The Escrow Officer will be responsible for overseeing the transfer of ownership of properties, ensuring that all funds are properly disbursed and recorded in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Duties
- Experience working as an Escrow Assistant for a minimum of at least two (2) years.
- Prepare and review loan documents, ensuring that all parties are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the escrow account by disbursing funds to the appropriate parties, ensuring that all disbursements are in accordance with the loan agreement.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to regulations and laws that affect the escrow process.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns that borrowers or other parties may have.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, preferably in the role of an Escrow Assistant and/or Escrow Officer.
- Strong knowledge of the escrow process and the laws and regulations that govern it.
- Proficiency in basic math and the ability to perform complex calculations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of contracts and the ability to ensure that all loan agreements are properly executed.
- Experience working in a bank or other financial institution is preferred.
- A strong understanding of financial services and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
- The ability to analyze complex financial data and identify potential issues or risks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
